Dennis Shipman was raised a Catholic. He attended Catholic elementary and
high schools, volunteering as an altar boy. Within the environment of prayer
and service to God, he began an earnest search for God.
Five years after high school graduation, he experienced a profound mystical
experience one could describe as ‘Oneness with God’.
A radiant white light and boundless unconditional love consumed his entire
being, and he discovered that God and Heaven existed within him.
The experience totally transformed his thinking and consciousness about the
Catholic religion and Christianity, the nature of God and Jesus, and
the purpose of life on Earth.
Dennis holds graduate degrees in metaphysics and journalism. He has taught
meditation classes, and worked in public relations. During the Vietnam-era,
he was stationed in Seoul, Korea and Nurenberg, Germany. He also worked in
surfboard and catamaran manufacturing. He produced and hosted a grassroots
political radio talk-show in Honolulu. He also founded a wood recycling company
in Long Beach Harbor and a codependent recovery group. He was executive
director for the Gandhi International Memorial Foundation. Born in Nebraska,
he grew up in Orange County, California. After living in Sourthern California
for 35 years, he moved to Honolulu, where he has lived for over 11 years.
He is currently the editor in chief of a new spiritual publication about the
great shift in consciousness for the new millennium.
